A new offering from Evoke · Spring 2026
Colorado is experiencing its worst snowpack year on record. Restrictions are tightening across the Front Range — and a beautiful yard shouldn't mean a water bill that keeps climbing. A Design Vision Session gives you a clear, personalized plan for a landscape that thrives on less.
Boulder entered Drought Watch April 1. Denver, Aurora & Arvada are already under mandatory Stage 1 restrictions. Boulder's decision is expected around May 1. This is the year to make a change that lasts.
Worst snowpack on record for Colorado. Denver Water: Stage 1 mandatory restrictions. Aurora: Stage 1 mandatory. Boulder: Drought Watch, decision May 1. Eagle River / Vail Valley: Stage 3.
What it is
A Design Vision Session is a 90-minute site visit with a senior Evoke designer, followed by a personalized written Design Guide delivered within one week. We assess your property, identify the highest-opportunity areas for transformation, and give you a clear, phased plan for a landscape that is both beautiful and prepared for Colorado's water future.
Site walk & landscape assessment
We walk your property together — reading your soil, sun exposure, microclimates, and existing plantings to understand what's working, what's struggling, and where the real opportunities are.
Turf reduction & planting strategy
We identify which turf areas are worth keeping, which are candidates for conversion, and what replacing them with low-water plantings, gravel, or hardscape could look like — phased to fit your timeline.
Your personalized Design Guide
A written guide with zone-by-zone recommendations, a curated Colorado-native and water-adapted plant palette, material suggestions, and a prioritized action list with rough cost ranges.
What you receive
Your Design Guide is a standalone document — specific to your property, written by a senior designer, and actionable on your own timeline. If you choose to move forward with Evoke for full design and construction, the $1,500 session fee is credited toward your project.
Colorado-native plant palette
A curated selection of drought-adapted and native species chosen specifically for your property's sun exposure, soil conditions, and aesthetic vision.
Turf conversion strategy
Zone-by-zone guidance on which grass areas to keep, which to replace, and what to do with them — beds, gravel, hardscape, or native groundcover.
Materials & hardscape direction
Recommendations for mulch, gravel, permeable surfaces, and structural elements that reduce water demand while adding beauty and function.
Microclimate analysis
Identifying which areas of your yard have distinct sun, shade, and wind conditions — and matching plants and materials to each zone accordingly.
Phased action plan
A prioritized, realistic sequence with rough cost ranges so you know exactly where to start and how to build the transformation over time.
Path to full implementation
If you want Evoke to take the project all the way through construction, the DVS becomes the foundation — and the $1,500 fee credits toward your design agreement.
"Our work is defined by clean lines, natural materiality, thoughtful detailing, and an instinct for balance — softness against structure, light against shadow."
